Who qualifies
The Military Family Rate covers U.S. and Canadian active duty, reserve, and retired service members, plus their spouses and family members. It applies at Hampton properties in the Americas. This is a leisure rate, so it is not meant for official government or military travel (those bookings use the separate per-diem government rate).
What you get
Up to 10% off the standard room rate. A few catches: it is a discounted rate, not a coupon, so you cannot stack it on top of other promotions, and the actual price varies by hotel and date. It is not always the cheapest option either. The Hilton Honors member rate or an advance-purchase deal can sometimes beat it, so compare both before you book.
How to claim it
On hilton.com or in the Hilton Honors app, enter your dates, open “Special Rates,” and select the Military Family Rate (rate code MFR for Hampton properties). To book by phone, call 1-800-HILTONS (1-800-445-8667) and ask for the Military Family Rate. At check-in, present a valid military ID. Staff may verify the ID but will not ask to see your orders.
