Short answer: Yes, Aimpoint runs an official Law Enforcement / Military / First Responder discount program, but it does not publish a single national percentage. You create a verified account and see member pricing only after you’re approved.
Who qualifies
Aimpoint extends the program to qualified U.S. professionals, both active and retired:
- Law enforcement
- Military (active duty and retired) and veterans
- First responders
- Government employees and security professionals
What you get
The benefit is a discounted “member” price on Aimpoint optics, framed by the company as a special discount plus perks like early product announcements and insider communications. There are two catches worth knowing up front. First, the actual price isn’t shown publicly: you have to create the account and get verified before you see it, and Aimpoint does not state a fixed percentage or dollar amount. Second, the program caps you at up to two optics per calendar year, and products bought through it are not for resale. It’s also worth a real-world price check, since some buyers have reported that ordering from a regular authorized retailer or catching a sale can match or beat the program price on certain models.
How to claim it
Apply at aimpoint.us/le-military-discount. You upload documentation showing your first name, last name, and qualifying affiliation. Accepted forms include a military or agency ID, a retired military or agency ID, an Honorable Discharge document, USAA or military/federal credit union membership, military exchange membership, a CAC, VetVerify acceptance, or a signed letter on official company/agency letterhead. If you send a copy of an ID card, black out any badge or identification numbers. Documentation is reviewed no later than the following business day. Separately, Aimpoint also sells through GovX, which verifies eligibility with a GovX ID, so that’s a second route if you prefer it.
