Who qualifies
The everyday discount is for military personnel with a valid military ID. When you present it, the $10 reduction applies to your whole group, not just the cardholder. The zoo does not publish a separate rule list for active duty versus veterans on the standing discount, so bring your ID and present it at the gate.
What you get
$10 off the daily general admission price. General admission itself varies by date, so the percentage you save changes day to day. The catch: after-hours and special events are excluded, the discount is in person only (it does not apply to online ticket purchases), and parking is still charged separately. There is also a $20 discount on annual membership for military, available onsite only with proof of status.
How to claim it
Buy your ticket at the admission booth in person and show your military ID. There is no online promo code and no third-party verification service like ID.me or GovX involved. Separately, the zoo runs a Military Appreciation Day (presented by Regions) most years in early November, offering free daytime admission to active military, veterans, and immediate family who show a military ID, veteran organization ID, or discharge papers.
