Lovely miniature pastoral waterfront scene.
Silk thread painted embroidery. Upon closer inspection, it might be printed artwork that is embroidered over, but that does not detract from its beauty and one of a kind quality, in my opinion. The thread has a lovely sheen that changes and shifts in light as you move around it.
Condition: Good overall, and ready to hang in my view. Minor dust on the interior glass (not super noticeable) and the black velvet backing is clean but has some minor wear, as well as on the wooden frame itself having some minor dings. That can be switched out, if you choose. Again pretty low key with the dings, but not pristine.
Unsure if this is vintage or not.
