Sharp MD-MT15 Portable Minidisc Player / Recorder [Restored]

This is a vintage 1999 MD-MT15(S) portable minidisc player and recorder that I've restored and tested. Plays and records very well!

It can be powered with 2 standard AA batteries, or with the included 5v USB to DC cable.

Repairs performed:
- Replaced old cracked and detached worm gear with brand new worm gear (shown in pictures, the new gear is the white one). *Not a used or glued gear*

Maintenance performed:
- Greased worm gear and laser rails
- Cleaned laser lens
- Cleaned all flexible PWB contact pads and connectors.
- Cleaned / dusted device interior and exterior
