This came from an estate clean out. It is absolutely beautiful. There is one small metal ball missing from the bottom. That is its only flaw. I do not know if it is silver. There is no markings that I can find. I have been told this may have came from Germany with the officer when he came back from World War II. I cannot verify that story but it was what I was told.
