Exquisite vintage hand-painted footed teacup and saucer set from Royal Albert and their “Flower of the Month Series”. Made of fine bone china in England.
The cup stands 2 3/4” tall and has an opening of 2 3/4”.
The saucer is 5 1/2” across.
Produced by Royal Albert in the 1950’s and 1960’s, this earlier Flower of the Month series features a Hampton-shaped cup and a back stamp detailing the birth month as a number (in this case #5). The set is delicate and colourful and features hand-painted hawthorn flowers among green and purple foliage. The edges of the teacup and saucer are gilded in gold.
In excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, nicks, cracks or crazing.
