▪️80's MUNSINGWEAR Vintage Cardigan

From the details and design, it's from around the 1980s.

【Size/Color】 - L -
Length (measured from the back): 70cm
Shoulder width (from the base of the sleeve to the base of the sleeve): 50cm
Body width (measured around the armpits): 60cm
Sleeve length (from the shoulder seam): 72cm
Sleeve length (from the center of the neck to the cuff): 95cm

I, at 165cm/53kg and slender, could wear it with a good look.
The sleeve length stops at the wrist with the ribbing, but it's long enough to completely cover my hands,
and the sleeves have a natural drape.

Depending on preference and how you wear it,
it's recommended for people up to around 175cm!!!

Due to the material, some images appear slightly navy due to the flash, but it's black.

【Condition】
As shown in image ①, it looks similar at first glance, but the bottom button is different.
(It was attached to another place and I replaced it myself, so there are slight traces of the sewing thread where I removed it.)

It's slightly thin, but the balance isn't bad,
and combined with the missing bottom button,
it creates an exquisite balance, like a design element.

There's a pinhole in the sleeve as indicated by the red arrow,
and a fraying between the second and third buttons from the bottom as indicated by the white arrow, which I repaired.
The color makes it unnoticeable unless you look closely.

【Remarks】
I was also looking for this myself,
but black cardigans are hard to find.

This is a Munsingwear item, which isn't very common, adding to its vintage appeal and rarity.

The pop of the patch
is a good accent for a chic outfit.

It has an exquisite edginess, like the Undercover sheep patch.

The material seems to be synthetic fiber,
and there's no problem with shrinkage or itchiness.

It's popular and easy to match, and although it's a rare large size in L, it has a very beautiful silhouette.
