VTG Steiff Lamby Lamb 4" Wool Green Glass Eyes Button Paper Tag Bell Bow

This charming vintage Steiff Lamby lamb from the mid-to-late 1950s (estimated 1955-1960) features:

• Soft wool plush with felt inner ears
• Original green glass eyes with black pupils
• Raised-script “Steiff” nickel button in ear
• Original circular “Lamby” chest tag
• Original ribbon and working metal bell
• Measures approximately 4 inches (10 cm) tall and 6 inches (15 cm) nose to tail

Condition: age-related wear to ribbon and plush. Some of the original factory embroidery threads on the legs are visible due to natural wear to the wool plush over time (see photos). These are typical of vintage Steiff pieces and are not repairs. Patina to bell. Button is missing tag, but paper chest tag is present.

This sweet little lamb would make an excellent addition to any Steiff or vintage toy collection.
