These wood, handcrafted owls are small but super cool! Carved from a lightweight wood, they are hand painted w/a black base color w/blue, white & red details creating their feathered look. The bottom is painted & rough hewn. The larger but shorter owl (LO) also had a yellow feather w/red center on chest & back. The other owl (TO) is smaller but taller. Both have misaligned eyes, slightly for LO & obviously for TO, adding a bit of humor to their handmade charm. Apparently, these little cuties hail from Southeast Asia, in the Bali &/or Indonesian region. A little exotic & hard to find pair for nature & owl lovers everywhere.
