5 chairs available. One had an auction house tag on it. None of the chairs are marked. The hardware on the chairs would be 50 to 60's era. They were purchased with splintered wood and missing large chips. I elected to have restoration work done as opposed to selling them as is. The chips were treated with wood filler, splinters repaired with wood glue. They were originally black albeit a more matte black or possibly a type of wood dye treatment. None the less, gloss black concealed to a surprising degree the repairs that were made, so much so that they are hard to capture in photos.
