This is an old used Drywall Scraper Tool that I painted Americana - Too soon for the 250th Independence Anniversary? I say no =) They are already planning for it for next year =) I gave it a good cleaning but left everything else in tact including some rusty crusty on the back and that gave it even more texture! I oiled the handle and I crackled and painted with an American Flag Americana Theme! I painted 1776 and 2026 and also painted:
250 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE + FREEDOM - Because of the wood wooden handle I couldn't figure out where or how to paint my stars so I painted an old metal round tag "front and back" and painted a primitive star and pinned it to some homespun on the handle and can be removed if you wish. On the "Back" I painted an American Flag flagpole and signed and dated. I antiqued and gave a matte finish to enjoy for years go come! Perfect Man Cave gift or for anyone in the industry or a collector of old tools =)
MEASURES: 10 1/4" tall and the blade is is 10"
