This beautiful piece of handcrafted folk art is a wooden one of a kind desktop pencil holder. It is stamped with the initials of its creator, S.L.C. It features bright red paint with 5 pencil holes and a large hole for a pencil sharpener. (I have not searched for a pencil sharpener to fit but I am confident that one could be found.) This could also sit upright with the holes to the back as a cute big pencil decoration. This would be a fantastic gift for a teacher or new teaching graduate! It's in very good condition for its age. There is a hairline crack on the back as seen in the pictures, but it doesn't affect its look or function. I don't know its age, but it's been in my hutch for at least 25 years since I bought it. 9" Tall x 3" Diameter. Non smoking home. Fast shipping. Pencils not included.
