The Fluke Networks® 10230100 8-Wire Modular Banjo Adapter can test telephone system working lines for voice and data applications. Gain circuit access without disconnecting equipment. Angled sturdy copper contacts prevent alligator clips from disconnecting during testing. Circuits are identified on sides and bottom.
This adapter includes small holes in contacts for test probe use, replaceable test lead and heavy-duty, molded-in clip. The Harris 4-Wire functions identically but the capacity is only four as compared to the 8 offered by the Fluke. The Fluke retails alone for ~$60 and the Harris is around ~$40 making this a pretty sweet deal for those looking to get into telecommunications.
