As shown. See all photos. Found among my dead family’s ancestral ephemera. Could have been a relative or, my estimate, a friend. I do not know who this is.

Here’s some info I found on Etchison:

“In the early 1900s, Etchison Photography, specifically William Etchison's studio in Frederick, Maryland, was known for its popular portrait studio and picture postcards. The studio, operating from 1905 to the late 1910s, was a local hub for photographic services, including the novelty of capturing "selfies" for sending to others.”

“When William Pearre Etchison was born on 27 November 1882, in Maryland, United States, his father, William H B Etchison, was 25 and his mother, Josephine Pearre, was 20. He married Alice Marie Doll about 1905. He lived in Frederick, Maryland for about 10 years. He died on 27 May 1929, at the age of 46, and was buried in Frederick, Maryland.”
