This vintage covered round vegetable dish/tureen from Taylor Smith & Taylor features a light blue band, gold trim and a floral center (pattern 1662). It has rounded handles and a removable lid. The base is underglaze marked with green laurel leaf Taylor Smith & Taylor backstamp ("2 42 5") and an overglaze gold decorator mark. Dates to the early 1940s.
No damage seen to bowl or lid. Minimal signs of age/use. Manufacture underglaze paint errors.
