Since this token is approximately the same size as a quarter, I'm assuming it was for the arcade on base.
It could also have been some sort of "goodwill" token given to all newcomers, and it would have had any number of redemption points.
It does not have a lot of wear, I would grade it AU, but it does have enough bag marks to suggest it was an arcade piece.
The tank on it is the infamous A1-Abrams.
I found others online in the $10-20, so I'll start it at $10, and since you already know that Mercari prices slowly come down, you can wait, or you can make an offer. I always contemplate offers.
I have hundreds of tokens, and a keyword search for TKxyz1 will show you only my tokens. There is no clutter from the poor Merc algorithm. :-)
